I'm a BookWorm! #2

As promised, here is the second edition of "I'm a Bookworm!". This one is obviously in the theme of John Green. I guess pretty much everybody has heard about the books but i thought i'd write about it anyways haha

I'll start with the most famous one, The Fault in our Stars. If you haven't been living under a rock for the last year, you probably heard about it. For those who didn't, here's the summary:
"Despite the tumor-shrinking medical miracle that has bought her a few years, Hazel has never been anything but terminal, her final chapter inscribed upon diagnosis. But when a gorgeous plot twist named Augustus Waters suddenly appears at Cancer Kid Support Group, Hazel's story is about to be completely rewritten."
I found this book easy to read, even though there is some medical vocabulary in it. It was the first time that i read a book, and that i laughed and cried at the same time. I absolutely loved the humor! Since i loved the book so much, i cannot wait for the movie to come out!! Here is the trailer for the ones who haven't seen it, or want to see it again.

Second is Looking for Alaska. Here's what the back cover says:
"before. Miles "Pudge" Halter's whole existence has been one big nonevent, and his obsession with famous last words has only made him crave the "Great Perhaps" (François Rabelais, poet) even more. He heads off to the sometimes crazy, possibly unstable, and anything-but-boring world of Culver Creek Boarding School, and his life becomes the opposite of safe. Because down the hall is Alaska Young. The gorgeous, clever, funny, sexy, self-destructive, screwed-up, and utterly fascinating Alaska Young, who is an event unto herself. She pulls Pudge into her world, launches him into the Great Perhaps, and steals his heart.

after. Nothing is ever the same."
This book was different from TFIOS, and at the same time there was still humor and really sad parts. This one was also easy to read, and i liked it a lot too!

The last John Green book that i own is Will Grayson, Will Grayson. Now, this book is special because it has two authors: John Green and David Levithan. I think i haven't read any novel written by two authors before,so i didn't really know what to expect. But i was super fun to read ; this is a story about two different boys that have the same name : Will Grayson. The first chapter is written by David Levithan and is about "his" Will, the second is about John Green's Will, and in each chapter, we switch back and forth. I had to get used to it because it is kind of weird in the beginning but actually you get used to it pretty quickly. Here's the summary:
"One cold night, in a most unlikely corner of Chicago, two strangers cross paths. Two teens with the same name, running in two very different circles, suddenly find their lives going in new and unexpected directions, culminating in heroic turns-of-heart and the most epic musical ever to grace the high-school stage".
I absolutely adored this book, it is extreamly funny and it teaches some great lessons haha. Read it, you'll never regret it ;)

So this was the second part of "I'm a Bookworm", i hope you liked it, talk to you soon! xx
